Welcome!

SoCalDrumSociety.com was started by Craig Zarkos and Duncan Moore, and designed to help create a greater sense of community among drummers and percussionists in southern California. We are located in the Oceanside area, providing a good locale for players from San Diego County, as well as Orange County/LA.

Our Free Tuesday meetings occur once a month and will explore various aspects of drumming, recording, and the music business from a drummers perspective. This is achieved through clinics, presentations, and round table style discussions.

In addition to the Free Tuesday evenings, we're scheduling clinics and performances by well known artists. The scheduling is based around their availability. For these events, we'll  need a little help from the membership to defray the artists fees. ( many of the artists endorsement companies are stepping up to help, so these fees are minimal) A very small portion will go to help with operating costs.

Please stay tuned for upcommig events, RSVP early, and help build our community by participating in our forum.

Thanks for helping make this a great community for your drumming brothers and sisters!
